I was looking at this thread when it was new and my wife was reading over my shoulder. Little did I know she was planning a retirement gift for me and what you all said about the Wave was the catalyst for her to buy one for me. She even got it engraved with my name. I haven't used it much but...
If this is the guy's ad:
Did a little search, found this thread, he goes by Tuffbumpers on Arizona Virtual Jeep Club. The thread has a little feedback in it. Looks like he uses 1/8" steel tubing. I couldn't find where he mentioned if the recovery points were tabs welded on both sides of tube...

Hey, uh... how much for that one? :D
It's only one short trip and I haven't put the 4.10s in yet, but we got 19.7 MPG @ 70 MPH (taking into account the odometer running 16% slow). That makes me feel a bit better after getting just under 8 MPG putting around in the desert.:Wow1...
While I agree customer service is critical, and while I don't disagree with your decision to go with AJ's, I read the threads you linked to, some of which are over a year old. The one complaint about misalignment appears to have been due to a transition to plasma. Stuff happens. The 'returns...

I was wondering if anyone with an XJ (or similar weight vehicle) has run this tire long enough to know what tire pressure will give it even tread wear?
Oh, and this is how I measured at what psi all the tread came to the ground, by slipping a sheet of paper underneath the tire at different tire pressures. For curiosity, I also measured the length of the contact patch as well.
This was by no means a scientific test, heck I don't even know...
One tire took 8 ounces of weight before it balanced. The tire guy speculated it might be out of round. We haven't had it on the freeway yet, but we didn't notice any tire vibrations around town or on a very short stretch of highway.
The steering requires significantly more input but then the...
x3 for the dutch oven.
You can cook with coals from the fire.
You can cook in the lid.
Easy to clean, wipe it out. And if it's really a mess, return it to heat, then wipe it out.
And I really do believe food tastes better from a well seasoned dutch oven.
