Stan, are the new camper floors natural "linoleum" or the same toxic vinyl? Also my lift panels are already rotting, on a two and a half year old camper, can the new panel system be fitted? And is the new material abs plastic,on the lift panel?
Put more weight on the opposite side. For the groaning around corners, I recomend installing a louder stereo. Or check the Blinker fluid levels, muffler bearings, etc....
I have 1 roll bed/couch for a FWC finch for sale.$75 O.B.O This includes the brackets, bottom pad and top pad. The couch/bed is about 60"x32" and is tan in color. This item is to large to ship but if you just want the brackets ,the cost is $45 plus shipping. I can be reached at...
The set up I use for the mutts consists of half inch (1/2") cdx plywood for the deck,3/4" plywood for the frame, with piano hinges and a two door opening that when the door is closed looks like the floor. I've invested about $30 dollars total into this project. The carpet is marine/auto carpet...
This has been a fun truck for me since 2007, not very impressed with the actual MPG,s,(from what the window sticker stated), But I can get about 16-17 mpg with the FWC Finch on back and loaded. I do tend to drive like grandma when the camper is on and the speed limit in Oregon is mostly 55-60...
I have only owned my FWC Finch since Sept 2010 and slept in it a total of three nights. I really like it and it seems to be great qaulity. I was supprised at how well it was constructed, It is a shell model with furnace and extra battery options. The original install was a bit squeeky, so I...
Was this a FWC camper? I laughed so hard I sprayed coffee all over the laptop at the"banjo burning" comment!! I've had one of those drawing board moments to put a ice shanty stove in my FWC. Then the thought of burning wood over a tank of gas while sleeping crossed my mind. And where to vent it...
Not unless we make it! You can order the sink and fabricate the rest or pay the shipping cost. Maybe a question the van folks can answer? I was using the pic for reference mostly. The unit is self contained and light when empty with two handles it is easy to move. Would easily fit under a canopy...

MTN very functional "Barn doors" on truck/camper.
HADLEY:
I have a portable stove as I like to cook outside as much as possible. And I have a very nice sink that I will be installing in the camper, will make a post about it soon.
Do you have a link to the Westy setup?
Searching for a good...
I think if you order the furnace package it comes with a CO and smoke detector. It is also a forced air unit with electric fan and thermo, already vented. With the shell model the cabinet is only about 14inches or so high, or my info could be wrong. But with that addition it should not weigh...
Great trip report and photos. Noticed one of your lights was absent on the front. Did you loose it on the bumpy roads? I have a knack for taking out birds on my road trips. Two windshields and an antenna so far. Nice to be away from civilization for awhile though isn't it.
