i ordered a new set of stock height leaf springs this week. the company i ordered from was out of stock on the ubolts so i thought i could pick them up locally. wrong.
how critical is it to not reuse ubolts? can i run the old ones for a week while the new ones are being shipped?
for you guys with the manual transfer case. keep some spare rubber linkage rings in your door pocket. i found out the hard way. the ones on my 2003 where rotten. the whole link bar fell out of the truck.
i dont have anything to say about the car itself. my observation is that this seller is asking 65k and he put up four pictures in the ad and repeated the same pics tree times. seems fishy.
i did some pricing and it looks like for the small project i have in mind, plywood is my best material. some of those other materials seem to be special order, expensive and hard to find.
found this plastic sheeting not too far from me but i can buy several sheets of plywood for that.
i need to build a shelf over my ice chest in the back seat of my truck. i would like to not use wood. i found this pvc sheet at home depot but none of the stores near me carry it. any other ideas of materials that would work? i'd prefer to heat and bend it, not cut it...
