I think finding a nice truck like this and sliding in the comm shelter would make a great start to a solid low budget expo truck that you wouldn't mind using hard.
Since they are all used, no two will be identical in condition. I'm sure the listed $1500 price is "average", and that they would be willing to negotiate some.
I ran across this and thought I would post it for anyone looking for a great starting point to a hard side camper project. They are made to fit a standard full size 8' box, and are definitely rugged. :Wow1: Not sure if anyone on here has used them before...
Thank you. Yes, our company makes generators that are run off PTOs, and produce 240/120V AC power ranging from 6.2kW up through 30kW. We also have systems at 6.2 and 8kW that run off an engine mounted hydraulic pump for smaller trucks with no PTO port. You can see additional info on our...
Kinda like a dirtbike on pavement... ? Not sure how to answer that any better. It's not made or used for many miles on road. Just a way to get from trail to trail legally without use of truck or trailer.
Sorry for the delay. Been out traveling for work (like usual).
Here's a quick pic of the truck. I'll try to find a more interesting one.
I've got stock sized 265/70-17s on now, but going with 285/70-17 next.
I have the Yokohama Geolander ATS on my Ram 3500 and have been very happy. I have 56k on them right now, and just starting to hit the wear bars. Performance has been very good for an AT. Only issue is some cupping causing more road noise, but that's my fault for not rotating enough. I'll be...
Yes, I wish I had something like Ravelco. It was parked in my driveway, about 20 feet from my bedroom window when it was taken. The truck was loud enough to wake up most neighbors when I left for work every morning, so I know they didn't start it. They must have towed it away. I got it back...
Love it. That camper shell is awesome, especially for $300. I little bit of extra height without being huge and very sturdy so you can mount whatever you want on or in it. The only downside I see to it is no screened windows... which could always be changed.
Still pretty new to this forum, and thought I would share some more of my toys. This particular one is a 2000 F-250 Crew Cab 4x4 7.3L diesel 6-speed. I ordered it new from the factory, spent about a year and a half building it from the ground up, and it was stolen before I got close to...
Awesome pictures. I didn't even realize until tonight that this section was here (yes, I'm a noob to this forum).
Here are mine:
BMW R1150GSA (which I regrettably sold a few years back):
At the rim of Royal Gorge in NM:
KLR650 (currently my main ride and wearing street shoes):

I forgot to mention; I already have LED strip lights mounted along the top corners on both sides of the cap which light up the inside VERY well, but I will be running a new 12V supply to the back with 12V sockets, and extra accessories wired in, such as a small fan, and a reading light. I will...
