Recent fun with Bill Burke's 4-Wheeling America Advanced Off Road Training in Oregon
This was a fun three days in the mud of Tillamook State Forest near Brown's Camp. Bill Burke is a great guy and I highly recommend spending time with him if you get a chance.

I would source some thin felt (dark or color matched to the dash)- the self adhesive kind if you can find it. Thin strips of this between plastic mating surfaces will work miracles for current or future squeaks.

I just finished a 5 state trip from Portland, Oregon to Moab, Breckenridge (for LRNR), Boulder, up Pikes Peak, up through Poudre Canyon to Walden and on to Saratoga, Wyoming..... then home to Portland.
I do ... I am the Service Manager at Green Oval. Doug is the owner. I am curious ...... How much quicker do you think the second 'seat lowering' project might be if you were to do it again?

I have had a 14" electric fan with an adjustable switch on it for years. There is no addistional shroud or ducting of any sort.
I keep fresh coolant and water wetter in it. I have never even come close to over heating no matter how loaded my rig is or how hot the weather is.

Seat lowering project
I am also working on a rolling resto and mod project RRC and have considered the seat lowering idea as well. I was thinking about using first gen Disco seats in lieu of the Range Rover ones. Your attack on this is really nice. It looks like it will be a top notch job.

Non-ABS conversion
It's my understanding that one could just source an earlier vacuum boosted system ( master cylinder and booster ) from say a late '80's Classic and fit it.
This is was hoping to do with my '90 Classic that has 'pedal kick back'.
