Brand new set of four wheels that just barely, BARELY do not fit my truck. They spin but it's just too close for comfort & ease of balancing. They are unused and in the original packaging- two were taken from the boxes to test fit on the truck and then returned to their boxes. Tires have not been mounted. I'm past Fifteen52's 30-day return window.

Size: 17x8.0 | 5x150 | ET25
More info: Link
Retail: $1300
Price for these: $1000
Location: Durango, CO

Thanks for looking,

-Ben

Yo Ben in what way were they too close? I was considering these for my gen 2.5 tundra. Any pics of them mounted and on tundra?
The calipers are a hair’s width away from the rim, which may be fine, I think it’s really close for most 17s on the Tundras, but given that my tire shop couldn’t find anywhere to reasonably put the weights on this particular wheel. Fifteen52 also makes a 17x8.5 at 0 offset in this wheel that they confirm to fit the 2.5 gen Tundra and there are lots of photos out there of that setup but I didn’t want that much poke so I took a chance on these. I didn’t take any photos of my particular situation, the tires were never even mounted. Hope this helps. -Ben

Do you have stock brakes? Would it be an issue if you were on a wider wheel? I have seen a million tundras on 17’s so I’m trying to understand your specs. Was trying to order nomads or methods this week. Thanks for being open on this topic.

Yeah I have stock brakes. It's true there are tons of Tundras on 17s, but not all 17s work. I'm not an expert but to my understanding there isn't really a set formula- more wheel width helps but isn't an absolute (some 8" rims do work), low offset or high offset helps because there's more room on one side or the other etc. Makes sense to verify with the manufacturer that they will fit or find someone online with the setup you're looking at I think. There are lots of good threads on forums like tundras.com on this subject too.
