We are just back. Beef Basin? The snow above (2 feet on a 15% grade) and the mud below (30 miles of bottomless goo) precluded us from even getting to Beef Basin, as hard as we tried. So we tried getting in over elephant Hill. That's part of the story. I'll be posting a report in the trips lasting more than a week section once I get my pix and vids sorted. jefe
