Sadly, the engine in my 2008 F-450 grenaded, and Ford doesn't want to cover it under warranty, so I'm having to list some of my not immediately necessary tools & toys on Craigslist to come up with the extra cash for the engine replacement.
Of course it had to happen right after a new transport...
I finally got to take some pics of these after getting all 5 installed.

So my 20lb powertank came in on Friday.
Where do the Northern AZ guys bring their tanks to be filled up here?
The place I bought my welding equipment said "We dont fill them here, leave your tank with us...we'll send it down to be filled in Phoenix and you can rent an exchange tank.....yours...
I've been browsing around trying to gather as much info as possible regarding welders and their capabilities lately.
It seems most people for home garage or small shop use just have some of the smaller stick or mig machines.
From what I gather with the Bobcat and Trailblazer type units, they...
I got the ok to pickup a powertank for my birthday present "from" my girlfriend.
What size tank or setup would be recommended for my 39" tires?
I run them at 25psi on road, and 10psi offroad.
How long could I expect the tank to last, (ie. number of fillups?)
I'm kinda bummed out that I havent had any responses from the seller after several messages sent.

Today, 9/16/07 - I drove out to the AZ/NM border to pick up my military trailer.
Its a 1952 M100 that I picked up slightly rough, but at a nice price and perfect for me since I have a lot of plans for it.
The bonus is it was already converted to 6 lug, and came with nice Toyota steelies...
I'm still trying to find one of these trailers to customize and pull behind my LX450...
They are always out on the east coast, but I never find them around me in AZ. Anyone know of any for sale in the Southwest?
For clarification, they are the smaller 1/4 ton trailers like this:
and...
I have 2 NATO style gas cans.
Both have good gaskets for the cam type lid to close them, but I don't have one with my spout that mounts on the can to use when filling.
Anyone know where I can pick up these gaskets?
I currently have almost 39" tires on my 80 series. :cow:
Would a small compressor like the ones offered at Costco just spontaenously combust at the sight of my tires?
Seriously though...would one of those work for airing up on the trail, or would they not last long with my tires?
I went big on top...so I needed to even out the bottom.
I got them all mounted today...
"Recommended" rim according to the Military specs is 9" wide, but they fit on the factory Lexus wheels.
They sing a nice song on the highway, and surprisingly no death wobble. They couldn't fit these on...
