I have an opportunity to pick up a 1980 Toyota SR5 4x4 and would want to use it as an all around truck. It's all stock and in great shape. I know they're a bit small compared to most rigs these days, so I was wondering if anyone has used them before for expo/trail/camping use.

I've found a 92 LC that is gorgeous with only one flaw, paint bubbling which looks like rust on the outside, drivers side along the windshield. There is no other rust that I can find anywhere so my guess is this is due to water leaking in and staying there. Bad windshield gasket maybe ? Anyone...
