    Sooo Many Used Rovers

Reputation, poor maintenance records and some genuine problems contribute to depreciation. Pull need to pick a model/year/engine and then research that combo specifically to sort potential issues. With a few caveats, a well maintained Rover is generally as reliable as a BMW, Merc, etc.

    RR Evoque or Discovery Sport

I’ve owned a variety of Rovers over 20 years, RRC’s, D2’s, LR3, RRS and an Evoque. Evoque was a great daily, fun to drive, sharp steering and the ivory interior lovely. Only downside was space…I’d recommend one if you have no kids, if you do the Disco Sport is the direction I’d go. Sport mode...

    SYA Kit Limiting Straps Binding

...of course you can, if you don’t have tires that are too big. SYA = Save ****************. It’s insurance for people with big tires. Limits the drop when air suspension fails. I picked up an LR3 used that needed an alignment, would drop to bump stops on the highway (for perceived safety) thinking I...

    SYA Kit Limiting Straps Binding

The SYA kit is for Rovers running oversized tires. If you have an airbag/compressor malfunction and drop to stock bump stops, you will grind into your tires and you are dead in your tracks. LLAMS ain’t gonna help you then. Anything over a 265 65 18 (if I remember correctly) on an LR3 puts you in...

    Gone Moab 2019

Thanks for the info - still waiting for some rock sliders to be available for the new Titan non-XD's, so far only steps on the market. I would definitely want sliders and at the very least the uprated shocks from the PRO-4X before hit any trails. Still not many sturdy off-road lift options...

    Gone Moab 2019

No I am not, love Canada and have had many off road adventures in Ontario with Canadian friends. Alberta always looked like a great place for hitting some wide open trails...especially now that I have a full size truck.

    Gone Moab 2019

No thread hi jacking, just a similar on point concern! I’ve been off road with a stock Xterra back in my Land Rover days in muddy/rocky Canada...very capable vehicle...

    Gone Moab 2019

Modding the new Titan in non-XD form is not really easy at the moment. No rear locker available, no winch bumpers, no great after market lift for real off road use out there either. Pretty much street queen spacers and the Icon lift which is still an expensive unknown for performance and...

    Gone Moab 2019

I've done the National Land Rover rally in my old D2 with 3" lift, rear locker and front Tru-Trac...had a blast. Now that I am Rover-free and in a stock Titan, just wondering if anyone here has been involved in the Gone Moab event and could offer feedback. Would love to go for the social aspect...

Vehicle research - school me on Titans....

I picked up a 2017 SV 4x4 a few weeks ago and am pleased. Very comfy, easy to drive despite its size - doesn't drive "heavy." There were some complaints about the transmission shifts in 2017's that was rectified in 2018's. I have no issue with the way my 2017 shifts but the 2018's I test drove...

2017 Nissan Titan Audio Upgrade & Rear View Camera Installed

Picked up a 2017 SV 4x4 and wanted the bench seat up front, that meant sacrificing on audio and rear-view capabilities. Just got the new sound system and back-up camera installed. advice for 2" spacer install on a 96 disco

You won't find many (any) that would suggest the spacers over springs and shocks, but I'm not going to get preachy...The job will suck. Everything will be rotted, stuck in place, fused together. I'd pre-buy new hardware, get a spring compressor and to get a little more room, you can use a bottle...
