Ford Superduty Tremor "off road" 2020 F250/F350.

You're going to see a compromise for that somewhere, and it will probably be on the offroad performance side. Which parts are unnecessary?

    Ram 2500/3500 Info

I towed a 9klb enclosed trailer to Northern Arkansas a few weeks ago with my Power Wagon on 37's, it held the speed limit with the cruise control on the entire way. It was running in mostly 5th but sometimes 4th on the flats at like 3300RPM/75mph or so, but it definitely was not struggling...

Bought a Power Wagon, Attempting to Document

4.10 and 37s Yeah, that's a fact. We'll see what happens. On a related note, I found some bad wiring on my car hauler. My other truck wasn't sensitive enough to have a problem, but it blew a 20A fuse on this one. Dealer only, had to go to two dealers to find one. New trucks are an adjustment.

Definitely lame. Once the scotch locks are gone it won't ever matter, but when I saw them come out I cringed.

Stock, unless it has been regeared and I don't know about it. 6 speed trans. I honestly drive pretty easy and run it with the MDS turned off

The sleep/storage platform build has begun. Keep in mind, I am no carpenter. I can bend wrenches with the best of them but something about working with organic material destined to rot does not compute with my brain. I have essentially copied another member's build (going to look up who and...

So upon returning, I got a call that my ARE CXHD is finally ready. Delivery was right at 4 weeks. I went with the sportsman windows that both tilt and have sliding vent windows, a headliner, and a roof rack. This is the HD model that has the extruded aluminum skeleton inside making your roof...

Bought a Power Wagon, Attempting to Document

So I have gotten some more mileage on the truck and have a few things to show. The backup camera issue was resolved by the dealer with a fresh camera. No biggie. They also replaced the shift solenoids in the trans as part of a recall, so that's cool. Upon leaving the dealership, a traction...

    2018 TrailWhale Powerwagon Ram 2500

Coming from my straight piped IDIT, I absolutely LOVE my totally silent and boring Power Wagon. Maybe I'm getting old.

    Power Wagon Sleeping Platform

Bumping it up. I am headed down this road in a 16 power wagon. I built a platform for my OBS F350 that was good but I learned a lot. When I came across your build, it is more the direction I want to go this time. Any updates, changes, or pictures to share?

Eating crow....2018 Ram Power Wagon build

I've thought a lot about that exact thing. My realization is that there isn't much more tech in the middle-end models vs the base models, the interface is just different. IMO, they are subject to the same incredibly expensive fixes for the most part. At least close enough to not worry about...

    Increasing Power Wagon payload

My PW was about $3-4k (if that much) over a similarly optioned/mileage 2500 with 37s and sliders. I'm going to use it to tow an FJ62 on a 20' car hauler down the interstate tomorrow for several hours with many heavy items loaded into the bed of the truck. Look for me on the news.

    Project "Autonomous" F-350

Sheared bolts? Geez that's bad luck. I have had them get loose before so I always lock tight them, but never sheared.

Took this on the way to work after a Tough Dog suspension install and a quick rock slider install. Running great, headed out for a few days on the Kentucky Adventure Tour in a few weeks.

Here's a picture of what my backup camera was doing. The dealership is throwing a new camera at it, hopefully that takes care of it. In the meantime, rocking the FJ62 around town. It's an 88 with about 280k on it. I bought it non-running and neglected for $350 USD (not a typo) and have...

Bought a Power Wagon, Attempting to Document

We just covered this on Pirate :flipoff2: For those who don't go there (you should), Mileage is looking like around 10 city and 14 highway according to the dash. That is with an uncorrected speedometer, which I really need to fix. After correcting, it should be slightly better which is more...

Bought a Power Wagon, Attempting to Document

Admittedly, I have been a habitual forum user for years. Years? Like well over a decade. I have never started a build thread and never contributed any tech. Fortunately, with this thread, none of that will change. I'm not really much into some of the more erroneous aspects of a build, but...

Talk Me Out of an OBS as a budget overlanding rig!

I just sold this thing. 92 F350 CCLB 7.3 IDIT ZF5. I'm not going to miss it. I might miss the ability to limp it down the road when something goes wrong, but I won't miss something always going wrong. I definitely got my practice with field repairs even while approaching maintenance with the...
