i would like to go back up into the cape as well. we booked accomadation in bamaga and on the way home had bookings in the whitsundays and so we were a little rushed and had to keep to an itinarary

we drove from melbourne to the tip in july 2013. pascoe river on frenchmans track was impassable after 2days rain at chilli beach so we bypassed frenchmans.
we drove the whole telegraph track. didnt make it out of palm creek and needed to be snatched out, people camped...
there are a lot of 4wd,s that have bullbars and snorkels and winches that never leave the suburbs. but snorkels are cheap insurance if you do do water crossings
and they do improve performance as a cold air intake
I had wondered how much was interchangeable between the great wall and the axiom but now I think not much besides sharing a basic body. and if the axiom is uncommon anyway its not a place to look?
I have seen great walls with calmini front upper control arms from an 98-04 Isuzu amigo so they do...
