    Give a Dreamer Advice

Vintage - Toyota FJ or Ford Bronco. Both have solid engines, transmissions, and axles. Personally prefer 80-96 Bronco but the is just me.

    Spring Mounted Flatbed?'s

The doges of that era mount the bed directly to the frame. The frame is boxed until partially after the cab so flexible from the middle on back as tire max demonstrated. Two ways to build a vehicle flexible or solid. Both work but in-between does not, it end up tearing everything apart. Since...

Pluto's come a long way in almost 3 years..

Really nice truck. Did you see much of a GPM decrease with the roof rack?

    Destination Unknown - a 1997 F350 build

One of the things with these trucks is the frame flex affects the ride also. My plan is to do a structural skid plate to still allow some flex but help with strengthening the frame. I have a long bed 96 F-359 and the frame flex is incredible.

    E-350 twin axle beam ,,,,,,

Agile off road can do great work. Spirit racing did some great TTB van conversions in the 90's and 2000's. You would be amazed at how well they worked and drove. Outside of longer radius arms, caster does wonders for tub and it driving straight.

    E-350 twin axle beam ,,,,,,

Couple of things to make the win I beam work better are longer radius arms so that you don't get as large of a caster change, good shocks i.e. bilstein or fox. Steering tie rods in good condition make a huge difference as does bushings in good shape. You can get an honest 14" of travel out of...

1991 f350 CCLB 'Great White' Build

Thanks for the reply. I have some choices to make as to how far I want to get into this truck. I like it and think once my shop is built I will have the time to do some fab work.

1991 f350 CCLB 'Great White' Build

Along with boxed frame pictures, how does it ride with the U code springs? Considering the springs or converting to coil springs for the front.

    High Quality ground tent !

Have the same tent and I am very please with it. Heavy as all get out but solid in the wind. Last campout in the desert winds came down the canyon and wiped out over a third of the tents in the camp site. The Cabelas tent was rock solid. I like using the 4 season tents in the desert as they...

Southwest '17 F150 build. Going faster than your average rig.

Started one on Go Fast. Bought a fully caged chassis. When I get working on it later this month I'll start posting it here as I want to do overland trips with it. Set for a 96 460 w/E4OD, big brake kit, auto fab front end and Bilsteins. Shooting to have it drivable this time next year. Have a...

Southwest '17 F150 build. Going faster than your average rig.

Very nice build. Though I love the new Raptors they are over priced and then you have to throw on dealer markup. Nice to see more of a pre runner set up on this board. Kind of the same concept I am going with with my Bronco. Never the less cool build. Interested to see how well the new aluminum...

1996 Ford F-350 Quad Cab 4x Cummins Conversion

Updated the price in the original post. Selling for a friend as I was involved heavily in the build. He is willing to deal. Engine control is mechanical. Injection pump has been turned up with a #10 fuel plate and 3000 rpm governor spring. Heavy valve springs were added to compensate for higher...

    Great ground tents

That is a great deal. I have an 8 man alaskan guide for me and my two boys. Only downside is I could never get it back into the original bag. Fits well into a sea bag. Thing is great in the wind, rock solid where at the same camp site 50% of the tents were taken out by 30+ mph winds. Kind of...

    Percolator coffee pot

One thing i would strongly caution you on before you buy a percolator is to get one with a silicon hand. That way you do not burn yourself nor do you need anything special to pick it up.

    Anza Borrego & Mojave

Very cool. Looks like Blair Valley? I was out at Palm Canyon last week and water was running good through Coyote Canyon and Palm Canyon still. Love the area.
