I am the last person who should post an automotive tutorial but O2 sensors are pretty easy to replace. The hard part is figuring out which one to buy.

It looks like my bank 1 sensor fixed itself. I replaced the downstream bank 2 sensor and still have no O2 related codes after 1000 miles of driving. I still have the P0507, fast idle, error.

I've been reading about this, and apparently O2 sensors can be hindered by mud on the wiring. I haven't been able to find any broken wires so I'm going to try cleaning everything.

I wish mine would. I cleared the codes in vain hope. They're back.

Finished a full cooling system flush, which fixed my heater problems.

I found an '02 manual on e-bay but one just came up on Amazon for $25 which seems to be a pretty good price. It's less than I paid for mine. It won't last long, the other one they have listed is $70.

The placement of the OBD port puts a larger reader (like the one I linked) kind of in the way of your accelerator foot. I don't know if the small ones work or not but they would be out of the way.

Does anyone know if the OBD II port relays temperature information? I know I'm behind the times but I just learned that you can get a Bluetooth OBD reader that will pair with a smartphone. There are apps that will display the info as you drive.
