    FS: 2003 Mitsubishi Montero (Ltd) w/ Overland Build - [NorCal] - $4300

I'd jump on this in a heartbeat if you weren't on the opposite end of the country from me. GLWS

At the moment, it's pretty crude honestly. I just have a metal wire wrapped around and zip-tied to to the latch mechanism that leads up to the top of the hatch panel. I then just grabbed whatever I had that could serve as a handle to pull up on the latch... which is a heater hose t at the moment...

Awesome! I really like the window vents. Did you build those out of ABS plastic and door screen? I've been wanting to do something similar. For that last trip, I just put AVS window visors on and kept the windows cracked (crank windows rock!). I don't remember why I picked the driver side to...

    1988 XJ Pioneer “Rock Bottom”

The interior looks great! Looks like it was originally a gold exterior color - is that camo paint or a wrap? If you look up "Cruiser's Renix Tips" on CherokeeForum.com, you'll get a lot of useful info on that era XJ. What transfer case & rear axle does it have? Curious if you have a factory...

Which USED CC LWB Frontier to Get?

Hello Nissan heads! Pardon the interruption from a Jeep XJ owner but I'm thinking of dipping my toes into your pool. I'm looking to get a used "small" crew cab long bed 4x4 pickup as a winter driver/adventure vehicle, and parts runner while I work on my Jeeps (they need some garage time). I'm...

Are those wheels from a WJ Grand Cherokee? That's seriously the first Patriot I've seen that I really like? Does it have that "low range" setting for the CVT (assuming it's that and not a stick)

Dang - that's awesome. It's like an "Australian Spec" JK with the stretch and the bed.

Man, that really makes me want to get a V8 WJ for towing/carrying more payload. I love your setup. Here's a recent poser shot of my attempt at a sub 4,500lb do-it-all, master of none, 4X4 with no roof rack or tire carrier. I need to get even more creative with interior storage so I can...

Sorry to be "that guy" but a 285/75R18 should measure around 11-11.5" wide, not 9". Still, a skinnier 35 than most but a 9" wide tire would be more like a 225mm or 235mm tire.

    Overland XJs Unite!

Yeah, those steel wheels with the tall/skinny 32s are epic! If that was my rig, I'd probably end up just staring at it in the driveway instead of watching TV haha. What load range are those @JPR4LFE ? Speaking of tall/skinny tires with 16" wheels, here's mine with some Icons and 255/85R16...

My real rig is finally back on the road. Still need to break-in the gears, so no real wheeling just yet but it'll hit the trails and beaches soon enough. I don't plan to doing anything special to it in terms of "overlanding gear" - this is a ground tent rig for sure as I'd ideally like to keep...
