Have you figured this out.i have the exact same issue . Been driving me nuts ....I think it has to do with maybe a leaking fuel injector or something. Sometimes when the car is hot it loses pressure slowly sometimes it doesn't .

Doing a lot of highway driving on a trip, on a 2005 in the door jamb says the tire pressure should be 29 psi front and back. Seems extremely low, why do they recommend such a low pressure? With the tire at 32 to 35 they still look a little bulgy. What do you guys run?

The monitors will never set on a 96, if they do u believe it clears when you turn it off . My 96 always passes, just have to take it to the right smog shop where they know what they are doing. I believe there is a bulletin to ignore the monitors. You can search this forum for more info on that.

Was two years ago. Haven't used it a lot alot. I have manual hubs (a must). It's juts sitting there most of the time. When I pull it I'm going to inspect everything for wear.

i have this same problem, took the thing apart from the dash and there was nothing notable or obvious to fix. all the soldered connections were fine.

when i ordered mine from Lokka it came right away no problems. Ill actually be removing the whole diff if anyone is interested in buying the whole set up (4.63 gears with the lokka installed in it already).

Count the bolts on the rear diff looking from the front of the car back. Search it inn this forum. I have an LS and too a 96 and it has a 9inch rear

I took mine aprt trying to find a tiny loose solder point or connection, just made it worse. Does anyone know if I can just put an aftermarket tach gauge in using the same signal?

Why not just replace the belt. Maybe the wobbling did something to it to make it off just a bit

that Timken driver side axle seal, make sure it actually seals. I ordered one on Rockauto and did a bunch of work put it in, had oil dripping out of it, Pulled it out figured i messed it up, got another one and put it over the axle shaft and sure enough it was super loose. Ordered the OEM seal...

3.0 i dont think any LS's were a 3.5?

I have a question lol. I have a 1996 LS and am wondering if the V4AW3 Transmission could handle a 3.8 swap from the endeavor (or whatever). Can it handle more power and how much can it handle? it has 225K on it already but hey oh well. The 24V makes max 177HP so will like 230-250 HP just tear it up?
