    TAXA OUTDOORS trailers

We just took our cricket for our first longer trip. 2 weeks from LA up the coast through Oregon and Washington ending on the Sunshine Coast in Canada. I really wanted the tigermoth and we drove to Phoenix to look at both the moth and the cricket side by side. Eventually the wife decided on the...

    flip-back build

Unrelated to the flip pac (which is a super impressive build) : is that an aev snorkel? Noticed any huge mpg or sound differences since putting it on? Also got a 1500 ecodiesel and I'm thinking hard about the aev with the prefilter more so for the California dust then severe water crossings.

First time build. Utility bed trailer.

Thanks Bigklittlecar. Yeah, I probably should have aimed for slightly smaller. It's pretty huge now that the boxes are on it. But then again wife and I are both pack rats so we'll see. And I def like the bear proofness of it. I was really happy when I tried this out tonight I'll be bringing 3...

My DIY solution to the UEV 440

Holy c#@%. This build is totally insane. Super impressive. Having a very basic knowledge of some of the skills needed to make this trailer I'm utterly amazed at your broad range of skills and how professional the end result is coming out. Hats off to you. And how humble you are about it just...

First time build. Utility bed trailer.

Socal's been hit with a terrible heat wave, it was a 114 at the house this weekend. Add to that that I'm battling the flu and I didn't really get much done. Must have been over 120* in the barn so welding wasn't all that appealing. I did get started on patching up the boxes and got them set...

First time build. Utility bed trailer.

Next. So now that I knew the dimension of the boxes I ordered some trailer parts, 60" axle, drums, same pattern as my truck. Also ordered 2 extra rims and toyo at2's I'm getting for the truck. I went a picked up Som 2"x2"x.125 and some 14ga for supports and started welding up the base...

First time build. Utility bed trailer.

1st weekend I got it home. Next came unloading by myself since my trusty neighbor was gone. This was pretty rough, but with 2x6s and some patience everything works. And I started cutting these things apart. This was hours of nasty nasty work. But I got them cut up to where I wanted them...

Newbie with a new Ram 1500 Ecodiesel

explrcamping, it's got a degree indicator so getting it symmetrical isn't the toughest part. it took a few bends to figure out how much material is used to create a certain angle bend (so that your bend starts and ends in the right spot on your tube). offgridcamper. yeah, i was struggling with...
