I think I would mock-it up on the Pinz with small pieces of EPDM tape and then carefully remove it for the final taping. Your Pinz looks in great shape, but might not be perfectly square. Will you insulate the metal floor or camp primarily in warmer climates? Also, be sure to seal the various...

The guys on real4x4 will know all those dimensions and can inform you about the engine swap too. Personally, I'm working to get more HP out of the stock engine.
I'll get my pictures for you tomorrow, but remember on a stock Pinz the amber light is brake and red light is turn. I turned the small bulb into running light on mine.
I posted some photos of my M416 and 710M Pinz a while ago-

The M416 works really well with the Pinzgauer, they track perfectly, and are easy to tow...
Post some pics when you get it. The Swiss Sutter trailers have some nice features. I never found one near me and went with an M416 that was available locally. Do you have a Pinz tow rig?
Glad to see I'm in good company. I didn't want to overthink it, but I'm about to build the plywood lid and want to make sure it allows for storage options underneath. Thanks!
Post up pics of your storage methods for a stock M416- no tailgates cut out or side drawers. Has anyone done something more than just Action Packers? Please and thank you. :ylsmoke:
I've been lurking here for months and just wanted to say thanks for all the ideas on the forum.
Here's where I started...
and here's the current status
My trailer isn't too elaborate, but I think it fits the Pinz nicely now with custom wheel adapters, matching rims, tail lights, and paint...
That is a clean trailer. Please don't cut it up. Use it as is or sell it to a collector and find one that is beat up if want to mod the body.
Ps- my son is at CSM.
fwiw, I agree w/ dswafford. I'm working on a 416 now and they're pretty small. I don't think a bike would fit without cutting a tailgate and having it hang out the back some. So then, if the bikes go in the truck, you don't have the secure storage you want, so I think an M101 is a better...
Great trailer
I love your trailer. Not too fancy, but looks and functions great. My m416 build is supposed to be similar, but it hasn't had a good role model. 2 questions- what latches did you use for the top? Where did you get the kitchen box with the 5 bar tread plate? That stuff is hard to...
