ok, got the rear end figured out, how about the front end? Is there a difference from the D60 to D44 as far as the perches go?

I under stand that it is not an upgrade, but the half ton axles that are going on the donor vehicle will be fine. Its just a pick up and is where I sourced the 1tons from. Now, how do I go about measuring to replace the new 2.5" spring perches on to the 1/2 axles. I am not exactly understanding...

I am doing a swap for a friend, he wants to swap in a 10bolt rear end and dana 44 into an 87 truck that had dana 60 front end and 14bolt rear end. I under stand the dana 60 rear end had narrow leaf spring pads compared to the 10bolt. My question is how do I go about measuring the leaf spring...

Finally the ORD coilover axle mounts and four link mounts arrived. These things are seriously heavy duty. Great looking welds and made to order, very excited to start on the suspension. A few more frame mods, mostly the rivets and I should be ready to work on the coilovers. Still waiting on the...

No, I am doing a custom dash that will be similar. Although their dash is nice, it is a little too $$$ and plus they dont sell it bare aluminum anymore.

Just a little update, made some more head way with the engine bay and was able to remove the dash. If you guys dont already have of these little nibbler tools, they work great for thin gauge steel. Next up should start on the new A/C, custom dash and the ORD coilover axle mounts come this...

Yea, I don't believe this was ever a military vehicle as it came with a VIN, however the build sheet was exactly like a CUCV. It is 4x4 3/4T and originally came with a diesel motor. I also have CUCV M1031 where I got my 1T axles from.

Just a quick update, these last few weeks have been really busy. Got the front and rear axles off, engine removed and will continue to remove unnecessary items and material. Next up the gas tank, dash and all leaf spring mounts. Ordered the proper size die for my tube bender and will hopefully...

Just like the tittle says I am in search of GM Hydroboost/Hydraulic clutch/brake pedal assembly. LMK

New bits just arrived. ORD LS crossmember and engine mounts, extreme duty universal wire harness, cross over steering bits. Still gotta track down a correct NV4500 bellhousing, hydraulic clutch pedal assembly and a few more bits.

Honestly it depends on how fast the parts come in and how many hangups I run into. I am still waiting on the ORD coilover mounts (front and rear) and I need a new tube bender die. So, if I am honest with myself....I would like to see her on the road by august of this year. I wish I had the space...
