Beautiful work on the doghouse. The original tags you put on it is what separates the men from the boys.

CJ to TJ what to expect

I think the TJ/LJ is probably the best all around Jeep ever built. I have a 2016 JK Unlimited but still long for a LJ Rubicon with a manual transmission.

2003 Sterling/Freightliner SC8000 Cargo- Cummins, allison & custom marmon-herrington 4x4: perfect blank canvas for heavy overlander

Does it have a rear diff lock too? The VP44 is a good pump. Just put a good lift pump on it with a fuel pressure monitoring device and you're good to go, you've already done that. The 24 valve with a VP44 is actually my favorite Cummins, easy to work on, good driveability, and they sound good...

I don't know if that axle will replace your one currently in Casa, the brakes look different. I'll dispose of it and it's funny brakes at no charge to you sir.

Nice truck. If that has a front diff lock that is a very rare bird, usually they only put the diff locks on the rear.

    How to tell a M416 from a M416A1

Do the backing plates have hydraulic brake lines going to them? Is there a bleeder screw at the top of the backing plates?

I'm not talking "Kommando Spezialkräfte", but pretty darn close, how would you build your next RIG?

Found this yesterday evening, thanks @Deleted Member 183. Been in communication with the seller. Says it's a 1954 Travelux 16' trailer. My limited research says it's a Canadian company that built it based off the Avion design.

I actually looked for an Airstream or Avion truck camper but decent ones are expensive. The other thing is I'm up here where there are trees, and I need something that can take a branch or two and not dent. I do have a 24' U haul box, FRP, that I've also thought about using after shortening it...

Yep, that's why I got a 07 International 4300 frame. It was under a 24 foot or so reefer box so it has plenty of nice straight frame rail to play with. I'll switch the cab over to it. The stock Loadstar frame would have to be lengthened and it would be lots of work to fit everything on it.

Here's the start. Hopefully have a bunch to add this next spring and summer. Tent camping has lost its appeal now that my wife and I are over 50. https://forum.expeditionportal.com/threads/forest-service-crew-buggy-body.225567/
