Thanks to everyone for the comments thus far. The feedback is greatly appreciated. The Battle Wagen is designed to be a solid utility trailer that performs for off road duties as well. We wanted to bring a trailer to the market that was reasonably priced and could be used as a great platform...

We are currently in the process of designing a number of modular accessories for the Battle Wagen. We are working on a drop in M416 style box along with the lid for dust and weather proof gear storage. We also have in the works a tongue box, mounts for Jerry cans, propane cylinders, hi-lift...

Battle Wagen Trailer by Expedition Offroad

We are excited to announce the release of our new Battle Wagon trailer here on Expedition Portal. This little trailer is the ultimate mobile toy box for the weekend warrior. While there are a number of very nice off-road trailers in the market there has been a need for a simplistic, modular...

What ONE piece of recovery gear will you never leave home without?

Although it may not be my first choice if I could only bring one recover tool, I have found that an exhaust jack works really well when the ground is hard for a lift jack to get a good purchase. Such as in snow, mud or sand. It also might be a good option if you don't have any jacking points...

Goal Zero Nomad 13.5 Vehicle Battery Charging Setup

To combine the Nomad 13.5 and the Escape 30 panels you would need the Solar 4.7 splitter cable. This allows you to put up to 4 Nomad or Escape panels in parallel. We don't have it up on the site yet but the sku is 90814A. -Jim

    Tent Recommendations

I think the only way that you wouldn't be bothered as much by 30 mph wind is if you were set up in something with hard sides like the AT Teardrop. It's all matter of preference though. I rather like tent camping. Intelligent camp placement has much to do with how much tent camping sucks...

Goal Zero Nomad 13.5 Vehicle Battery Charging Setup

Lawmaker that cable is for daisy chaining 2 Extreme Power Packs together. The cable that you would want for the Escape panel is this one: http://www.goalzero.com/shop/p/36/Solar-4-7mm-Splitter-Cable/5:1/

Goal Zero Nomad 13.5 Vehicle Battery Charging Setup

Lawmaker you are on the right track. You can pair up to 4 of the Escape briefcase panels with a combiner cable. Both the Escape and Boulder panels are great and both will work with the Extreme 350. If you are going for one or two panels I would go for the Escape (my preference). If you need...

Goal Zero Nomad 13.5 Vehicle Battery Charging Setup

Lawmaker for now you would have to combine a couple of Boulder 30 of Escape 30 panels. I don't have a lead time on bigger panels from Goal Zero yet. It could be 3 months it could be a year. -Jim

    Solar power for camping/overlanding trips installed 6 27 2009

We can just build a little adapter for the panel to use it with the 350. I'll post up with more info in a bit.

    Solar power for camping/overlanding trips installed 6 27 2009

It wouldn't be a problem to get you the proper plug jacks to use with your current panel. The 110 /220 is on the other side of the inverter. The nice thing is that you can run the AC and DC simultaneously.

    Solar power for camping/overlanding trips installed 6 27 2009

Corey you are correct. The charge controller would replace the Brunton controller. You could set the Light-a-Life lanterns up to pull directly off the battery, cigarette outlet, or the charge controller (Solarland Controller). You can chain up to 12 Light-a-Life lanterns together. The...
