    Velo, I used a hitch extension, 16 inches pin to pin, 23 inches LOA on my JKU, 35's X 12.50. Riser on the trailer side, Rear door cleared the spare easily.

    ebra, IMHO, your last sentence nailed it perfectly. So far, I have only the RTT, generator, Yeti ice chest, minimal galley with 20lb propane up front, and some supporting camping gear, i.e. awning etc. Removed the spare tire 1st thing. I have yet to add water (rotopax or otherwise), group 27...
