Nissan Titan XD and/or OEV Camp-X aka Backcountry - camper provisionally sold 3/27

Forgot to include photos of the brand new stovetop after it was installed. Old one would light, but not stay lit if you released the knobs. I'd swapped parts without success, so just had a complete brand new unit installed. (Photos are right after install, so the butyl tape still needs...

Nissan Titan XD and/or OEV Camp-X aka Backcountry - camper provisionally sold 3/27

New photos of the new soft sides outside and inside after their complete replacement with the updated spec. Happy to take other photos if people have specific asks. First time I'd popped the top since the work was done a few weeks ago. Bungee cords shown below strung across are just to pull the...

Nissan Titan XD and/or OEV Camp-X aka Backcountry - camper provisionally sold 3/27

Additional photos below. We've always kept covers over the cushions to help keep them clean. So I removed them for some of the shots. Mattress has always had a layer of hypervent underneath it: https://www.mattressinsider.com/mattress-condensation-prevention.html Power control panel, USB...

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

Appears to use the exact same counter cutout dimensions as the Dometic. Makes it a solid contender if I decide to replace completely. Thanks!

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

What burner cooktops are the latest versions coming with? The Dometic PI8022US 2 burner unit in our 2019 Camp-X is faulty - it won't stay lit on either burner. I've spent $140 on new thermocouple parts which didn't fix it. I spent $150 on an RV Tech who rang Dometic and they couldn't do...

Different from the way chadx shows in his photo above of his padlock securing the turnbuckle?

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

I definitely wish our two year old model had some of the improvements they've made over time. My wife and I just got back from a 2200 mile roadtrip though Montana and Wyoming MTB'ing and fly fishing. We've got most things sussed now, but I really need to look into some of the insulation tape...

    Bicycle cover recommendation?

Has anyone got a good recommendation for a cover we can use on our two tray hitch bike rack? I would need to be able to cover 2 large downhill mountain bikes, so might need to be a 3 bike sized cover. They can get pretty filthy back behind the truck and camper when the weather is bad.

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

I think ours was about #3 off the construction line. We definitely wish we had more storage, even with just two of us. Duffle bag shuffle is definitely what you have to do with clothes. I removed the table ours came with as it just took up way too much space. I think newer models have a smaller...

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

I think mine has a slight slant but I can't remember which end appears higher. It might be that the front is propped up slightly from the front mounting plate/bracket/thingy. Nothing that's bothered me enough to measure it.

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

Ordered a 5 gallon collapsible from ebay last night, thanks for the pointers. Easier to store than the hard 5 gallon container I had been using :) Has anyone had any issues with the small rubber "feet" that support the glass over the stove top and the sink? One has gone missing from our sink...

Make sure you don't have the main latch too tight on the Yakima when it's closed. There's a small e-clip holding the pin for the u-bolt in place, after a couple of years ours gave way and I had to get a replacement. Caused by too much stress from the big u-bolt being clamped too tight. (I think...
