Well wind will replace warmer air with colder air, but it will not change the temperature. Nothing will get colder than the air temp.

Wind chill does not affect the actual temperature. That is a human "feeling" thing only.

YUP!!!! I love mine. No need for an inverter so it fits my bill perfectly. It easily lasts 3-4 days without charging on my Dometic CFX3 55IM. EVEN IN THE SUMMER HEAT.
