    Ford E450 4x4 build revival

hey Mike, the tank I got is an Armebe. I found it brand new in Toronto on Kijiji and had it shipped to me in Winnipeg. Its a smaller tank than I wanted, but the price was right. I think with shipping i paid about $300.CAD. The guy that certified it said I'm lucky is was a Canadian model, as they...

    Ford E450 4x4 build revival

I hooked up my Propex 2800 propane furnace. Like everything else so far, I did 99% of the installation and then brought it to someone to certify the work. The Propex heater works awesome. It was able to maintain 20c degrees over night when the outdoor temp was -25c. I also mounted and plumbed my...

The left front caliper was packed with a sand/mud mixture that I had to chip away like it was cement. I was able to free everything up. I hope the heat didn’t cook the seals on the pistons. I went for an hour cruise around town last night and it seems ok. ?

    Ford E450 4x4 build revival

I have progressed a little more on the interior. I usually work on something till I get to a point where a critical decision needs to be made, then jump on something else for a while before which fork in the road to go down. I’m still stumped as to how to finish the shower right now. I just...

I had a few health issues that really slowed me down in 2019 but I got a few things accomplished this winter.

    Ford E450 4x4 build revival

My fridge is still on order, and I have been working 6.5 days a week anyway so not much happening on the RV. But I did pick this up last weekend. My wife loves it. We took it out Sunday afternoon for a couple hours. It was a little chilly, but pretty fun anyway.

Yes for sure. Really good to deal with, and I'm happy with the windows so far. I'll see how they hold up this winter in -30 degrees and the lousy roads up here.

I got my windows from SunView industries in BC. Originally I wanted to go with Motion windows, but they were a lot more money and the shipping to Canada was nuts. I don’t have a picture of the driver window setup. It wasn’t fancy, believe me, but it worked ok.

    Ford E450 4x4 build revival

We have a small room air unit that we take with us when it's hot. It fits between the front seats and runs off my Honda 2000 no problem. I run the manifold out the drivers side window and the condensation drain through a hole in the body where the camper body and van body join. Used it twice...

I ordered an Isotherm Cruise 219 fridge today. it's 5 weeks for delivery. I should be able to get the 2 bunk windows in and a start on the bathroom by then. Fall riding season is coming up though...cool temps and sticky trails are calling my name!

Using tool chests or file drawers as cabinets in a van or RV build?

http://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/maximum-4-drawer-base-cabinet-30-in-0687096p.html#srp this is the Maximum line, from Mastercraft. The regular ones are pretty flimsy. The Maximum ones are solid. They go on sale often, sometimes $100-$150 off each piece.

Using tool chests or file drawers as cabinets in a van or RV build?

I just installed these Mastercraft cabinets in my camper. Even though they are stout, I bought a bunch of Dynamat to line the panels with. But so far, zero rattles. Much better than I expected. Our highways in Manitoba are pure crap to drive on, and some of the tracks I go to have miles of...
