Diesel heater in a four wheel camper?

I have an Espar D4 in my FWC Hawk Flatbed. As the truck is Diesel, it makes a lot of sense to have a diesel heater. The downside was that the Espar seems to be quite finicky and complicated. We went from a D2 to a D4 as we kept on getting error codes and poor performance from the D2. The D4...

    Custom Overland Trailer: Sold

I am the second owner of this custom-built trailer. We have owned it for about 9 years and I have extensively upgraded and maintained it. It has traveled around Arizona, the California Desert, and Utah, in particular. It is comfortable plying about pretty much wherever the tow vehicle would like...

Recommendations on suspension modifications on a 2020 Ram 2500 Diesel w/popup camper (1300lbs)

Have an AEV suspension on a RAM 3500 with a Hawk FWC on a flatbed. The rear is supported by airbags which I was not enthused about and a recent run on the White Rim Trail confirmed my hesitancy to go with this setup. The ride was horrible and the rear window of the Hawk shattered on a modest...

    FJ60 Diesel Campteq Camper Build

Seeing your build gives me second thoughts about my "don't chop the top off a classic cruiser" edict.

Crisis in our national parks: how tourists are loving nature to death

A potential solution. Let California become it's own country. Then we can "build a wall" so Californians (Expo members get a special pass through the wall though;they're not the problem) don't come and overpopulate what's left of the beautiful West. :)

Reliable LC shop in Northern AZ?

Yep. There are none here. Taking mine down to the Valley. Going to Prescott is not much better than going to the Valley, IMO. I am looking towards doing more DIY in the future. Perhaps we can kidnap (Good Carma) Dave and bring him back here.

Mr heater buddy heaters in tents overnight

I agree. It is pricey (but you can save like I did with the DIY model) but safe and does the job. Despite the sleeping bag truth, my wife won't camp without it in anything but the most temperate conditions. Works for RTT, ground tent, and probably could fire it up at home for power outages as...

    Doc's AT FlipPac Build Thread

Did for me as well (at least for most of my photos). Not sure what to do from this point forward though. I'm guessing Photobucket will come up with a work around so it does not make sense to post any more Photobucket images.

Thanks for posting that. Good to know. It's received good reviews so I can keep it on my wish list.

Alu-Cab Has Landed In The USA!

Anyone know why the Alucab 3rd Gen Expedition RTT is no longer on the OK4WD site as well as others suppliers sites? Also, most photos on this thread (at least until the mid 40s) have been "photobucketed", making the thread "worthless" as they say.
