    Just purchased. Have you tried opening and closing the tent with both items mounted yet? I’m curious if the rack will crowd the zipper track. The zipper has a decent lanyard on it, but I’m not sure how well it will pull from an angle. Time will tell! Can’t wait to get back out there.

    The poles on the back side are optional. Depends on the wind really. The tent does make a lot of noise unless you’ve got the back towards the wind with the rain fly buttoned down. In milder climates, you can unbutton and prop the back of the fly up with provided poles. Tbh- if the weather is...
