Best Safari style shirt for Expedition and Casual wear

That is hilarious...too funny. I've a cotton Ex Officio shirt that I picked up at least 23 years ago, still in service though buttons have been replaced. It has a map pocket that I've not seen since. I even called the company in an attempt to persuade them into producing another version, CS...

    200Tdi Turbo Replacement

Who has replaced a turbo on a 200tdi? Workshop manual is a wee bit thin on details and not much shows up through searching. Is there anything crucial about the task other than oiling it up prior to running? Is there a trick to that? Thanks in advance for any input.

    Camping Storage Box

These military surplus medical containers are a good deal, pretty bulletproof and water tight. I use a medium and a large. The upper half of the large (and X large) is a container in itself, having an internal lock-in-place cover (though not water tight). I use that as a permanent truck...

    Camping with Firearm-Post Bear Mauling

There are Brennekes for the 12ga: http://www.brennekeusa.com/cms/241.html. I like the Guide Gun, nice heft to it but handy. I know it's claimed the Remlins are up to speed now but I've yet to see one with the fit and finish of a "JM" Marlin. 405gr of flat top lead at 2050fps is hard to argue...

How many rounds in the cylinder of single actions?

Thanks all and thanks Robert for the quote from the book, that is more clear to me what is going on. Apparently, on Uberti's there is more than just the sear keeping the pin off the primer. I had watched a couple of Hickok45 videos on Schofields, one of them an Uberti where he only loads 5, and...

How many rounds in the cylinder of single actions?

Do you carry a full wheel or one shy? I've no single action experience yet, but I'm being called by an Uberti Top Break Schofield and just wondering about general consensus on that issue.

Do you feel the need to have a weapon when camping

I always thought this is where open carry was most sensible, ideal even, depending on what your "field" may be. What is your thinking on this Scott? An aside: This past weekend, 4 of us did a 10 mile loop hike. 30% along beautiful rugged, cliffy and relatively remote coastline. The other 70%...

    Trail rated Liberty Ground Clearance

Yep, that was my concern with the lesser options as well. A Wrangler may be available and that's my first choice but no guarantees. Tuweep, other N Rim points as accessibility allows and White Pocket are on the list.

    Trail rated Liberty Ground Clearance

Thanks AZJim, much appreciated. I'm just comparing options for a rental, I've driven the liberty to where I wanted to go so the Volvo XC70, which I was surprised to find had more clearance at 8.3" will do. It's that or an Explorer/ Traverse which both have 7.8"

    Trail rated Liberty Ground Clearance

The specs I'm seeing for the 2011/12 Liberty are a ground clearance of 7.8 inches. I can't find a Trail Rated specific spec, are they the same? Thanks for any input.

    put regular tent on roof?

While a RTT would be great for some areas I like the option of setting up lakeside too. so I found this Marmot Limelight that fit the footprint of my Brownchurch rack. I cut ply into strips that stack for low windage while traveling. Made "U" channel rails that fit over the front and rear edges...

The Vanishing Game by Land rover??

Apologies if this has been posted previously. I'm assuming this is a brand marketing strategy of sorts. I enjoyed listening/watching most of the story along with the scenery of Scottlan (how the waif turned maven spelt it) despite it's weak ending. https://thevanishinggame.wellstoried.com/...
