I have a Lowrance Baja 540c in my Jeep. I use the track files to make maps of the trails I run. As near as I can tell, Lowrance does not put elevation information in the track point data sets. Is this a configuration issue? I would like to make elevation profiles.

I am having trouble downloading usable files from my Baja 540c. The only way I can get a usable track is to save it to the memory card as soon as I complete the trail, without any other routes/tracks in the local memory. I realize this is vague, but anyone else having similar problems?
