My 71 FJ40 is 4.11 gears, a recently rebuilt F.5 engine with 33X10.5 tires and it is getting around 11 mpg in town and into the mid 13's on the freeway.

My 1971 FJ40 with an F engine will get to just over 70 on the flats. I have the 3 speed transmission. I have the vacuum actuated system to engage front wheel drive and the hi/low lever is under the dash.

Does anyone know of IRLP nodes that cover Moab and/or the Rubicon?

Thanks for setting this up and a good net. We had a bit of a late start here in Colorado as the IRLP node we intended to use to hook up was in use. The traffic signed off about 10 minutes past the hour and we connected right up after that. Ricardo KD0CAW
