XPCamper goes out of business, files for bankruptcy?

One of the jokes I used to make about my Defender was that it was never completely working or completely broken. :) No expedition camper is perfect, and I think that most folks understand that. You take a tiny and very complex combination of house, power station, sewage treatment plant...

    Integrated?

It depends on the camper. Integrated means it is a turnkey solution (chassis+camper+accessories). We have our water tank midship (directly in the way of a passthrough) so it isn't an option for our Evolution camper.

Nice bumper, but it looks to be for 2017-2019 model years and made out of steel, so quite a bit different from the Dissent Offroad modular aluminum bumper for our 2020 Super Duty. Just going from the photograph it looks like the approach angle isn't quite as favorable. It may be that CJC is...

Hi Chuck - Yes there will be other options! We recognize that there is no "one size fits all." (Buckstop has some nice offerings along the lines of what you are thinking.) Our goal for this bumper from Dissent Offroad is to have a low profile trail bumper that leverages Dissent's proven...

towing with a global expedition vehicle

One of the reasons we like building on 1-ton pickup truck platforms is they are designed to tow. We have a customer who also owns a Winnebago Revel, because the Revel can only tow 5000 pounds and when he wants to go out racing in the salt flats he needs to tow more. We are a big fan of the new...

Be Change LLC to Relaunch XPCamper V1 in March

Thanks Chuck! I really enjoyed doing Alaska/Yukon a few years ago - can't wait to go back and do some arctic winter testing on campers! and lol, yes I see what you did there. We had fun working the "nimble" into interviews we were doing before we revealed the new Nimbl name too. :)

We ordered our demo truck with pretty much every available option, including adaptive cruise. We want to be sure that we can integrate things like adaptive cruise, 360 cameras, blind spot sensing, automatic trailer backing, etc. into our builds if it is something a customer wants. In the case...

We are really luck to have some smart and talented companies to partner with. I had a chance meeting in Moab in Spring of 2019 with Ben Calhoon, the owner of Dissent Offroad. They were in a campsite next to us in the Sand Flats Recreation Area (Fins & Things) and I remember looking over and...

Be Change LLC to Relaunch XPCamper V1 in March

Thanks Lance - we're working on it, just haven't made it happen yet. The main focus of our engineering time has been improvements to the lifting roof system and implementing the new LiFePO4 system (the dimensions of everything changed dramatically so we pretty much had to start over with the...

Be Change LLC to Relaunch XPCamper V1 in March

Well there you go - thanks Lance and rruff! Definite difference (though both are a mix of boxed and C channel). Makes sense since those flat and parallel frame rails make mounting easy for upfitters trying to bolt on a service body or whatever. Mounting our flatbed to the pickup is a bit of...

I'm pretty sure that all of the SuperDuty frames are boxed under the cab and C under the cargo space like this (couldn't find 2020 data this is 2107 but I don't think it has changed) -

XPCamper goes out of business, files for bankruptcy?

I know we can't please everyone, but I do think it is a bit unfair to say we have mentioned nothing about the previous company. We have a couple of pages of information. See the links below: https://nimblvehicles.com/about-nimbl/ (scroll down to "XPCAMPER - OUR LEGACY")...
