FOUND IT! Most Amazing Dodge I've ever seen!

Love that truck accept the location of the rear winch....it set to far back. If they ever have to winch their way out of a situation and hook up at an angle the rear lights hanging down will be in the way. Either relocate lights or bring winch closer to rear bumper area.

    Pop Top Camper Trailers?

There are a bunch of them here in the US...try Coleman, Jayco, and Fleetood ...just google popup campers...you'll see. We have a 2007 Fleetwood Niagra, two king beds, one slide out diner and ours does have the shower, toilet stall, everything one would LIKE to have in the outdoors. Solar and a...

Which one of these do I want?

DieHard Platinum Marine Battery Group Size 31M is what I use on our camper and I charge bookdocking with two 15 watt solar panels and a 10 watt charge controller. All I can say is one hell of a battery. The only thing I cannot run in my camper off this battery is the AC roof unit...way to much...

Alaska... Mosquito Repellent. Spray, Patch, home remedy what works best???

Believe me this works great for ALL pests. Take a tube of deep heating rub, place in a QUALITY spray bottle 16 OZ, add rubbing alcohol (leave about 1 inch from top not filled), and shake until it is all disolved (this will take awhile but will stay disolved). I heat up water in a pan and...

5x10 enclosed cargo trailer, aka "El Burro"

I would seriously raise the axle...one good bump and your going to drive those tires right into the wheel wells...I seen it many times. First thing I did when I got my utility trailer was "flip" the axle (straight axle, not curved) and gained three more inches of clearance. JJ

    Travel Trailer

We have a popup, and being able to see the top of your camper in conjunction with the tree limbs you need to clear on the trail helps alot. A travel trailer or fifth wheel is convient, because there is no setup accept stabilizers, but you can't see the top of you trailer wether it is going to...

    Wheel shimmy

Most likely tread pattern causing it. Try swapping tires with a more road tire than off road tire and see if thats it. You can always put the off road tires back on knowing nothing wrong with the truck, or stick with the street tires. JJ

    Help Needed: Concept Camping Stove

First I say create a stove that runs off of any alcohol...even moon shine...anything you can make at home in your basement. Coleman fuel, gas, diesel is all expensive. So a free or really cheap fuel source is a must. Second, it must be light weight but tough as nails. Must have wind guards...

    Is this worth $550?

Its only worth what you think it is. To me personally I would not touch it...it doesn't even have the orginal tongue on it. Those things are very heavy too! JJ

Canon Rebel T2, with multiple lens and an Olympus WS700 (I take this one kayaking and fishing, water would ruin the Canon).

Weight limit for roof of Camper Shell?

Bottom line is if your racks are placed on the outside edge of the topper, you should be just fine. I haul up to about 400 pounds at times on Thule Cross bars on my ARE and have not had any problems at all. Now bouncing along rough off road timber roads and hitting pot holes and ruts, now that...

Kayak storage at the home pics - both indoor and outdoor

Here is a rack I recently completed. It holds six kayaks outside. Heavy duty and built to last a long time. Both standups have 360 pounds of cement around the pole and is 20 inches deep. Covered with 90% shade clothe (they don't make 100% shade clothe in that material), to keep MOST of...

The track for sure. One other thing to think about....if your cross bars make noice going down the road with nothing on them, you can easily remove them from the track set up! JJ
