    Good, secluded destination Mid California?

Hello, I want to plan a 5 day trip to a secluded location (BLM type land) and need some suggestions. I don't care to run into drug traffickers, meth heads or wierdos if at all possible. I'm not anti-social, I just like privacy when I camp. I'm located in the Bay Area and was thinking along the...

Hello, I'm a new Ham and just installed a Yaesu 2900 2 meter in my rig. I have gone to 2 different ham club meetings to get some help using this radio. Neither one offered much "hands on" help. I have the manual but it is complicated. I wanted to see if any other expo guys in the area could give...

Hello, looking around at a search for RTT I couldn't find a lot of info on trailer mounted units. On-Board fresh water system

No worries.. It hasn't been a problem for me, what I do is keep it filled with a bleach concentration in the water. I filter the water going in and going out. When I get ready to use, I simply drain, flush several times, and re-fill with filtered potable water. Never an issue. If you live in...

    On-Board fresh water system

H20 tank... Would it be easier to fab a spare tire carrier and utilize the factory spare location to mount a tank and skid plate? Thats what I did, no loss in ground clearance and I was able to fit a 17 gallon tank. Just an idea that I'am sure has already been suggested.

    12 Volt Ropelights?

Hello, anyone ever try 12 volt LED ropelights for around the campsite? Seems like the low watt requirement, decent light output and low insect interest would make it a good idea? What are some thoughts? Thanks! Jason
