We drove 2 hours to look at the V10 van today. The dealer was asking clean retail but the interior was pretty hammered. They wouldn't drop the price much so I had to come home without it. The search continues...
I've found two vans that I'm going to look at this weekend. Both are RB E350s. One is a 2013 V10 with 79k miles for $18900, the other is a 2014 5.4 with 32k miles for $21900. I'm planning on converting to 4x4 with a Ujoint kit, so I like the idea of the V10 van with 5R110 trans, but the mileage...

I printed out the PDF file in post 5 and got a quote to have the floor cut, pieces for the front and rear panels, and the side walls cut and bent all in 12Ga steel for $300.
I think with the extra weight of the Unlimited you'll want 4.56 or 4.88s. The 30 in my LJ has survived some pretty hard wheeling in Moab with 37"s, but there's a reason I never put a locker in it. I've seen lots of locked 30s with popped ujoints and outer shafts running tires as small as 33"s.
Any chance you're working on a truck shell? I'm looking at buying a Softopper to tide me over for now but I still want a pop-up shell. I just can't get into the Flippac tent design.
I called HeftyFab a few weeks ago to order a front bumper for my 2012 Frontier and was told they don't actually make one for the Frontier at this time. Shrockworks is a 3-4 month wait so I'll probably order a Calmini pre runner bumper for now.
I would like one for a 2012 4dr Frontier please. One feature that I would love to see is zip open screens like Sportsmobiles have. It would be great to use as a wildlife photography blind.
Wow I've really neglected this thread. I've been making a few mods to it here and there make it work better for my purposes. Of course like any build it's never really finished. I'd like to add a battery system, and it still needs some Wedco fuel can holders and a propane tank mount. I had added...
I just came across this thread and think I've found the replacement for my Kamparoo. I really like that stove and sink setup. And those extra rooms look great. My Kamparoo is a great setup with a few additions but it's not really built for offroad duty.
Looks like the view from the scenic overlook on I70. What direction are you heading from there? If you head through Cache Valley (northern Utah) I would love to see the Tiger.
