I have two fuel can holders from Adventure Trailers. One is for Nato style cans and one is for the Carb compliant style Wedco cans. I was going to use them on my trailer but I will probably never get around to extending the frame and making a spot for them. I am asking 150.00 for the two of...
I like the Esee knives as well. Not too expensive and they are awesome. I currently have the Esee 4, 3, Izula and Izula 2 . I will be purchasing a Esee 6 soon. The picture below shows the 4 and the 2 Izulas, my 3 is not shown.
What a fantastic idea, I love it. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to make a nice cooking area that is portable and deploys easily. Great job and thanks for posting the plans. I may have to modify it to fit my trailer but not much.
I just purchased the Kodiak Canvas 10x10 at Cabelas. I actually went there to take another look at the display they had setup but when I arrived it had already been taken down. The sales person was super nice and said that it was in the bargain cave and was marked down. I asked how much and he...
LOL, yeah they have some nice jeeps but I think there a little over priced. Be sure to check out LSJC.org, nice people and very helpful. Seems like there is always someone helping out another jeeper when wrenching needs to be done.
The LJ's will be out of the question in that price range. You should be able to find a good TJ in that price range... just not at Collins Brothers which is close to you. Best bet is to scour Craigslist and the local jeep clubs. Have you looked on the Lone Star Jeep Club forum? You may be able to...
Thought I would toss my rig in as well. The trailer is still a work in progress .I need the wheels and tires to match the jeep and it needs to be painted! I lurk here a lot but rarely post, always tons of great info.:sombrero:
Just my 2 cents but if your in the market for a Jeep buy the Rubicon, it will cost more up front but will save you dollars in the end. I bought an X model and although it has power everything and the upgraded stereo I wish all the time that I had spent the extra cash to get the Rubi.
I just purchased Overland Navigator and I like it for it's simplicity. Not very feature laden but perfect for what I really need. It is also touch screen compatible , I think which should work great on your CF-18.
Good luck
Let me know how they look when you get em. I have never downloaded the maps and printed them. I'm curious to see if they will look as good as the paper ones you buy. I assume they will though.

Valkyrie, I used to get mine from REI and The Backwoods but that has been long ago. I have also ordered them from the USGS store but it takes a few weeks to get em. I have a couple for the Albert Pike area but not Oklahoma. You could borrow what I have if you need em. Shoot me...
Can someone tell me if you can input already saved tracks into Navigator? I was looking at there website but did not see that capability. I'm pretty much a noob at this so I wasn't sure.
:drool::drool::drool::drool: Wow really nice scenery. I love the Albert Pike area but I have never been around or through the Wolf Pen Gap Area. Looks awesome. Me thinks your recon skills are fantastic! :victory:
I personally would not put a 35 incher on the stock carrier. I am still running 32's and plan to go to a 33 x 12.50 but I am still going to get a bumper and tire carrier.
I have a friend that I work with and he has an unlimited 4 door with 35's on the stock carrier and he has had nothing but...
