    JK added to the stable

All kidding aside I got the JK because I want to get back to more expedition type wheeling. With the Cruiser I got more into the hardcore rockcrawling than I really wanted to. I hope to make some trips out west in the next few years:gunt:

April Fools Day Toyota Crawl (Harlan, Ky)

No, I came to my senses:D Harlan is awesome, highly supported by the locals and the county officals. It is free to ride and free to camp in the park. The views from atop Black mountain are beautiful. There's also trails for every skill level, I ride there at least once or twice a month and...

April Fools Day Toyota Crawl (Harlan, Ky)

I forgot to post this here, it's not really an expedition but it's a lot of riding on some beautiful trails and some technical rock crawling. To give you guys that haven't been there an idea of how big the park is here's a sample map of the trails. The map covers over 6,000 acres.

    80 Series with Portal Axles

Installed a set of Iroks (39.5X13.50X17) and trimed the fender flares, I really like the way it feels now. Also switched to synthetic rope on the winch.

    Generic GPS

I have had several and like the Delorme with TOPO USA the best. The GPS works with most all maping packages. I have one permanently mounted in the Cruiser and another that I take in the other vehicles. They are around $75 - $100 on eBay.

This would make a pretty sweet Car PC!

Excellent, I have had zero problems from it, I drive it 3 or 4 days a week to work and ride a minimun of 80-100 miles a month offroad. It's easily removable to take inside at night when I convert the GPS logs to map routes. I map all the trails I ride, it really helps when in places like...
