Not a chance, while some people buy the 4.0 V6, the diesel still outsells the petrol 20 to 1. The D4D is a great motor, I've got one in my current prado, and had one in a hilux. Plenty of power and nice driveable motor. the new V8 diesel in the 70 series and 200 series is a real cracker too...
