    Tire Recommendations for GMT800 Tahoe?

Can't do a real comparison as I installed bigger tires relatively soon after getting the truck. Roughly 9.5 to 11.5 city and 15 to 17 highway... but I have 3.55's

    Tire Recommendations for GMT800 Tahoe?

I like this page for comparing tire sizes... https://tiresize.com/comparison/ I run 255/80/17's for comparison... same height as 285/70/17's but shouldn't cause any clearance issues

On eBay in NJ: 1998 FORD ECONOLINE 4X4 AMBULANCE 7.3 TURBO DIESEL

Not a problem it was originally in NJ. Looks like it was bought at auction and migrated south. It doesn't look like much was done to it since it was sold at auction, miles are the same. But the price jumped....

Feel even better about my ole 2003 F150 screw now.

The 10th gen in the crash was a Supercab, not a Supercrew. The Supercab does not have a pillar between the doors where they meet. The Supercrew does have the pillar the same as the Expedition making the cab much stronger. It's one of the reasons I purchased the Screw over the Scab.

    Roof Rack installs or Retrofit?

Wolvee, Realistically, what are you looking to put on the roof rack once it is installed? You truck is virtually the same as mine height wise and you will end up with a rack that is very close to 7' off the ground. I have thought of doing the exact same thing as you and considered what loads...

Wolvee, Glad I could help... I am curious about what you think of the F250 springs over time. I have thought about changing mine over to them but haven't had an issue with ride height when loaded. I kind of like the softer springs in the rear since we loose some flex in the front with IFS.

    F150 worth keeping for Overlanding?

I found mine on craigslist...found someone parting out a wrecked truck. I am running a aussie locker in mine. It clicks and chirps the tires occasionally but with the long wheelbase it is not as noticeable as the one I had in my CJ7
