Nice rig! Check out the Anything Cage HD's. They are a bit more durable for the unplanned bikes layovers and they have more hole to mount to. You can partner that up with the Anything Cage Bag that uses the webbing on the front to hold the straps in place so they are not always sliding down...

Sorry, yes Co-opski nailed it. Alternator plates. They allow you to lengthen the stays for 29+ to fit.

Remember that a new Mukluk with Alt plates and a Beargrease can fit 29+ or 27.5+ in those frames. I run 29+ in my Beargrease in the summer. Raises the BB just a little and makes it a killer trail ripper. Bonus is running fat tires when you want.

The Bucksaw will accommodate the 27.5"+ tires and rims on the market. The roll out on some of the tires is close to a 29er. One thing to note there are a lot of tires coming out in this range and width/height vary quite a bit. Keep that in mind when doing a swap. I don't know the demo...
