heck, I just drive with my lights ON, all of the time, in conditions I can't see, I stop, pull over, and activate flashing hazard lights, Heavy Rain, Snow, or Dust, it seems to work. amazingly others tear past at speed, no lights on, almost invisible..! be safe, be seen!

Recovery - Helping others - when and when not?

I am dumbfounded at the attitude of most of you guys. You don't give a **** as to where the other guy attaches the strap to his stuck vehicle, coz then "it's not your fault" ******? I make damn sure that the strap is attached to something significant on the recovered vehicle, if there is nothing...

    potable water tank.

Personally, I think hanging ANY of your vital fluids on the front or rear of your vehicle, especially at bumper hight, is asking for trouble and plain stupid. Especially your water supply, It should be the one thing that is protected from mis-adventure, either inside your vehicle or up and away...

    potable water tank.

A water tank on your front bumper leaves your only water supply vulnerable to damage and losing the lot! If you don't like the idea of a floor hard tank that the kids and dogs can walk on, stack stuff on, why not consider a lot of smaller containers, you can stash them in any nook and cranny...
