Anyone able to take a picture of the relevant bits of the spare wheel carrier under the back? Some parts of mine are missing but I have the two long bars and the crank handle, just trying to ascertain what I need. Thanks

Ok, it arrived today, had to buy the complete axle. First concern was how rusty the outer diff case is, I know it's a thick casting but some 6mm thick pieces were coming off when hit with a hammer :mad: Took the case off and all seems well with the diff itself so I may be forced to swap cases...

No, I have a woodburner :wings: so just heating using the engine plus the electric immersion element in the tank when on hook up.

Looking to sell the blue/purple ISRI suspended driver's seat from my 2002 Vario. It's worn on the back in 2 places from where it was rubbing on the bulkhead and has a couple of small holes on the seat squab but that doesn't affect usage. The mechanism all works as it should as far as I know...

Another vote for Dinitrol, much easier to apply and you don't have to warm the tins in hot water first :coffee:

Very interesting thread :) I've teed into the engine coolant circuit on my Vario and have sited the single coil 40l surejust clarifier below the double front passenger seat so the pipe run is pretty short and routed mostly externally. I'm also going to fit a heater matrix and blower on same...
