well that cam gear being off will either advance or retard that cam by 5ish degrees not really a good thing to be out, its kinda hard to tell by the picture could be camera angle to me it looks like half a tooth which could mean either one head maybe both have been milled over spec so it is...

Also when it stops working you also lose brake lights and it happens without you knowing it. I've been driving these trucks a long time trust me that hazard switch is no good. But if you want to keep it stock buy a new one don't keep that brittle old switch in there.
