I didn't grab any interior shots of this project.
I purchased the 4" deck plate off amazon, it did not come with screws or the tool to snug it shut.
I purchased stainless steel screws, nuts and washers at a local hardware store, along with a 4.5 inch hole saw.
I made a backing plate out of...
I used small bolts and nuts. There is not enough material for screws. But I'll bet rivets would work just fine. And I added silicone sealant before mounting my shore power plug. The smaller heater plugs have a nice silicone gasket that came with them.

Everything worked great. Tested the thermostat setting, seemed to work just fine. The burner shut down when the...
I made a prototype wedge for the side door. It works okay, but it will need some tweaking to get it all sealed up.
A quick test resulted in the inside temperature going from 55° F to 75° F in five minutes.
With the muffler on you cannot hear the unit running from inside. But you can hear the...
Thank you for your insight @MR E30 I watched a video where the guy did a comparison with his heater, running it with outside air and running it ducted for inside air. He found very little to no difference in operation. No noticeable temperature differences or fuel consumption on his unit.
I like this design, and I reached out to them. They only do the 3" size. I would rather not have to use a reducer to make it work on my heater and ducting.
My plan is to keep it outside. I am struggling to find a 4 inch option for getting the heat inside. I will need to cut a hole in the side of my camper.
