    Ford Powerstroke HPOP Fuel System

We also had 2 7.3 Powerstrokes. First in a '94 dually crew with a stick. I didn't like the stick with the Powerstroke. Too much shifting. Second in a 2000 15 passenger Clubwagon. Had a SuperChip in this one and kept it on the lowest setting. It was fun to drive even on the lowest setting. The...

    Window Tint

Here is a a tip I learned years ago. Do NOT use windex to clean the tint! It will turn it purple. Use a mixture of water and baby shampoo. Just a little baby shampoo. Actually baby shampoo is part of a secret recipe for cleaning windows. If you can get some actual window cleaning tools that...

    Window Tint

Current GA law is (don't quote me as it changes from time to time). For a while the law only regulated the fronts, then for a couple of years there was no law and now it is: passenger car 35% all the way around Suv, Vans etc. 35% on the front - behind the front is not regulated. Technically...

    1st Generation Toyota 4Runner's.....

Corax's mods Couldn't find a better place to post this so here goes: I asked Corax about the mods he has done to his 4Runner and he was kind enough to give us a review. The link that he refers to is 7m Tech Notes

Toyota guru's unite, I need tech help!

If the scrap pumpkin needs a r&p I would remove the ARB and put it in the 4Runner. Then scrap the spare pumpkin. If it only needs bearings rebuild it and put it in the 4Runner and keep the pumpkin out of the 4Runner just in case the ARB goes bad. They do go bad once in a while. The housing mod...

Disco in Atlanta area Junk Yard

I saw a Discovery similar to this in a junk yard today. It was missing the passenger doors, engine and tranny, and hood, but the rest appeared to be there. It was off white with brown cloth interior. It hasn't been there long. The roof was in great shape with both sunroof's. No I am not...

Bummed and relieved at the same time

I totally agree with waiting, but if you wait for the exact truck you want you might be an old man before you get it. The trick is to find one that somebody has spent the big money on and grown tired of it or has gotten married or has a new kid on the way. With the wife standing in the door...

my 3 yr olds photo walk

We gave our oldest a $100 digital when he was 3. I went to a camera store and found a digital that the lens didn't extend when it was turned on. That was my only requirement for it. Well that and it had to be better than that piece of junk fisher price digital. He is now 7 and has taken over...

    1st Generation Toyota 4Runner's.....

Here is my '89 that I picked it up 2 weeks ago. I really missed the '87 we sold a few years ago. Sold it because we got tired of putting kids through the rear windows into their carseats. They can buckle theirselves now.

Diesel Swap: 6BT or 6.2 Donor Truck?

As a current owner of 3 6.2 suburban's I would have to consider the cummins. Especially if it is totally mechanical. The 6.2's need power to the pump to keep the fuel solenoid open. However you can pick up some great deals on 6.2's. Everybody gets them confused with the original gm diesel which...

    open office vs MS office

I have been recommending OO to several people lately. Unfortunately I don't get to use it much. The latest spread sheets I have been working on far exceed the 65k row limit on OO and the older Microsoft product. It's all Microsoft 2007 for me.
