Gary, I am the lucky new owner of Trail Monkey's Basecamp as he decided to sell it 2 weeks ago. Would be interested in pictures of the shock cords for the lower tent as that sounds like a useful idea. Can you provide some more details on the typical new mods you reference as I'd be interested...

I bought 4 of these a few weeks ago and used them this past weekend. Great plastic water cans that fit standard can mounts for a great price.

Nice find - they have a location near me and have lots of other useful parts like drawer slides and latches that should be good for customizing my conqueror.

What size diameter is your tank? My Conqueror Basecamp came with two mounts that are about 8.5-9 inches in diameter that I plan to replace with mounts for standard 20 lb tanks. Might be willing to sell them.

My JK and my new Conqueror Basecamp. Can't wait to get out and use it.

Set it up in the backyard and spent the night in it last night with my daughter. Easy set-up and no problems packing it back up today before the predicted thunderstorms come tonight. I'll work on re-wiring the trailer plug tomorrow and start planning the first camping trip.

Got it home safe and sound, just one mishap on the way home. Half way across the Throgs Neck bridge the tongue jack fell down. Heard it right away, not knowing what it was at the time, but no safe place to stop on the bridge. Had to wait about 2 miles til cleared the tolls to stop and look...
