Sitting in traffic I noticed the temp gauge at 3/4 of the way up, yikes! As long as I am moving everything is ok. Have you guys noticed the factory coolant temp gauge is useless? Mine doesnt start moving until it gets to 230, which is way past where I would want to notice it getting warm...

(Regarding an 02 full size Montero) I didnt see that this have ever been brought up in discussions of o2 sensors. Most everyone mentions that all 4 are the same part number and are interchangeable, which is true to an extent. Say, you track down a bad upstream drivers side O2, and you order one...

I'm pretty sure my rear a/c worked last summer. This year it is blowing out the roof vents, but the air is ambient. The front air is cold. So the the flapper or whatever is in the back works, as when you turn it to heat it blows out the floor. So...I have airflow and the front works. What gives...

Do you guys have the same trouble? I am in central VA and these things are rare as hen's teeth in this area. I used pick-a-parts a bunch for the Troopers and never had trouble finding 5-6 to pick from at any given time at the closest yard.

I did this for one of my Troopers and decided to make one for the Montero. I used a 24" x 13" piece of MDO sprayed with Flex Seal(yes the infomercial stuff) After putting it on I realized I could still retain the factory cargo/storage net.

I picked up a 02 Limited with 130k miles a few months back. I was aware of the 4wd issues on these when I was looking for one and purchased it anyway with a blinking CD light when engaging 4Hlc and 4Llc. So this is where I'm at with trying to make the 4wd fully operational: 4H works, no issues...
