    Lexus GX470 Expedition build

I like that a lot! The hoop follows the GX grill opening which is wider at the top vs other offroad bumper hoops that mimic the 4Runner grill IE: wider at the bottom.

    GX470 front bumper question.....

Won't work without cutting metal. I wanted to get a Demello flat top 4Runner bumper since they don't make one for our GX but found out it won't work. Our GX grill hangs down much lower than the 4Runner.

THE BUNDU GEAR BUILD - LEXUS GX470

You add washers, nuts, spacers etc. between the ride height sensor brackets and the frame to trick the rear sensors to lift the rear. *This is on the drivers side* When TexGX says pinning he means to drill a hole through the airbag pin and add an "R" clip:

New to Toyota's Just bought 2005 Tundra DC

No 1st gen bumpers and no 2nd gen either yet. I spoke with him about making a bumper for the Lexus GX470 and he needs a GX to do a mock up on. Unfortunately no GX owners have stepped up yet and I don't live close to Cali or else I would do it in a heartbeat. His bumpers are the best looking out...

GX with winch mounted behind front factory bumper cover

Thanks Ryan. You know I read though his thread a few days ago. I made it to page 12 and didn't see anything so I moved on. He had a picture of it on page 15. Figures.... Thanks again!

GX with winch mounted behind front factory bumper cover

I saved this pic sometime within the past 2yrs and I can't find whos GX it is now...does anyone know whos GX this is? I tried doing a google image search and came back with nada. I'm curious if they posted a "how to mount" thread. When I saved the pic I put asfir mount, so I'm assuming they used...

    Bilstein 5100 vs OME

I didn't overlook anything, you said you were poor and wanted something inexpensive. I'm just curious how someone could say Bilsteins are subpar yet never ran them on their own rig? Again, how can you make that statement, you never ran 5100s before? Then I guess you're good to go then.

    Alignment specs

It drives straight as an arrow and no pulling what so ever even under hard braking. Since the left has almost one degree of camber shouldn't it be pulling slightly to the left? And no I didn't install aftermarket UCAs, I'm still using the stock arms.

    Alignment specs

Can anyone verify these alignment specs to be accurate? I installed Icon coil overs 2 days ago and I had Toyota do a front end alignment today and I'm not happy with the after specs, even though they're all in the machines "green zone". If I had more time to wait I would've had them try it...

    Performance upgrades?

That is true but for the most part, Toyota engines aren't easy to mod / tune like a LS is for example so all you'd be doing is wasting your money adding a aftermarket CAI, exhaust etc. If you want power that you can feel w/ your Toyota, forced induction is the only way to go, unlike on a LS...
