    The Oversleeper

Very nice rig and build. You made all the right decisions for your needs. But, for me an on board runnig water system is a must in any overlanding rig - usually in an overland trip one uses and needs theon board runnig water system more often then the on board air system I suggest considering...

RTT mounted with no drill (no other outside skeleton) on Jeep Wrangler ?

I'm considering mounting a RTT on my 2011 wrangler JKU hardtop. I have already a DIY massiv roof rack mounted and supported by the roof gutters and back window hinges bracket- I have seen on the net and on youtube there are RTT mounted on no drill racks - but still worried that it will not...

Thnks for the info. I want to clarify that I'm from Israel and the pricing here differ from USA. I will do some market research and get some price quotes for a complete paint job or for vinyl wrap. I also think that the best combination for off road use is paint + good quality clear...

Vinyl wrap durability while off roading?

The beat up paint was created with the Jeep's previous owner and it's not a result of offroad use but the result of the harsh sun in our region ant some X marks made in purpose by "good hearted" people. The Jeep will be also my dayly drive, so it's looks matters for me.

Vinyl wrap durability while off roading?

My 2010 JKU is black colored. The paint is in bad shape- some burned and faded ereas some deep scratches. So it needs a total new paint job- considering a vinyl wrap instead. I'm worried about its durability especially regarding those pine stripes (I do drive somtimes through heavy bushes)...

There will be no rattles if the copper pipe will be tightly wrapped. What worries me is how do I prevent overheating ? Need ideas on that issue- I plan to install a way to disconnect the copper pipe any ideas on how? Remember it must be reasonably accessible

on bord hot showe in 2010 jku- heat exchange with exhaust pipie?

Thank for the info I saw that picture and that is how I'v decided about the location of my planned water tank. I will not use it as drinking water. Any way I plan on custom madw stainless still tank. In that case I assume there is no need for skid plates protection for the tank (3mm stainless...

    Rear bumper water tank.

I have done it on my JK. It's a good idea as long as you don't intend to do some serious rock crawling as I did. When ever the bumper got hit it cracked and the water spilled- even the slightest hit makes small leaking cracks So now I'm seeking for other solution
