I had this same issue with my jeep recently. It made the same noise under the same conditions. Mine ended up being loose u-bolts. I tightened them up and the noise is gone.

i have a yj and i cant find any info on whether or not the 8.25 is a direct swap for me. is this a complete bolt in or is it about the same as an 8.8 install? ive never been able to find what all is involved in a 8.25 swap into a yj. any info or links on this subject would be awesome! Thanks...

I am a fan of pizza cutters as well, and the 33x12.50's that are on it now, although not pizza cutters, still look cool, but their downfalls are more unattractive to me. Tires dont cost me much as in my line of work things like that come with large discounts, so a tire swap isnt a very expensive...

ill look into it a little more. i guess your right on not being able to notice 1". lol. everytime i hear body lift, i think of my old room mates f150 that i could almost set a pack of cigg's between the frame and body! lol. Dave

id like to avoid body lifts and motor mount lifts if at all possible. if i decide to go back to 33's later on ill just buy more suspension height. but i have tossed the idea around about finding some 4 cyl axles and upgrading them as i dont want to have to mess around with a regear. Dave
