Now that the weather is getting a bit colder here, I have noticed that the 4runner is idling high when I first start up in the morning, which, in and of itself, is normal. what I don't think is normal is that after a few minutes of idling at 2000 rpm, it drops to about 1400 to 1500 and stays there. It is the 6cyl. and automatic, if it makes a difference. I gave it a complete tune up when I bought it back in March or April (can't remember).
This sounds to me like an idle control valve problem, but before I start replacing things, I wanted to get feedback from everyone.
